Our Philosophy. Zapoteca didn’t start as a business. It started as a place to happen. The founders wanted somewhere they would love to go as guests, a place to bring family and friends, to socialize and meet new people, to share favourite Mexican dishes and drinks made with the same love and care that turns an ordinary meal into a family celebration.

Eight years and two restaurants later, that’s still what we do. Every dish, every drink, every shift.

Contact Management

Submit your time off request in writing to the Scheduler before the schedule is posted. Requests of 1-2 days are standard RTOs. Requests of 3+ days are vacation requests and require 4 weeks’ notice. See the full policy in the Shift Swaps and Vacation document.

Contact the Scheduler directly by phone or text at least 2 hours before your shift. You must make the call personally, not through someone else. You are entitled to 5 paid sick days per year. See the full Sick Call policy for details.

Schedules are posted in the 7Shifts app by the Scheduler. Once posted, any time off you need must be arranged through a shift swap rather than an RTO.

New to Zapoteca? Complete your onboarding to get set up in the system, sign your employment documents, and acknowledge company policies. The process takes about 30-45 minutes and can be completed on any device.
